The Stacker™ SSC - MK2 conforms to international standards and specifications for the handling and management of spliced fibre optic cable.

The Stacker™ SSC - MK2 has a number of unique features. The cassette was originally designed to assist installers to utilize the space available in small wall mount termination boxes and small junction boxes. The "stackable" feature of the cassette allows higher density splicing and management to be accomplished without the danger of overcrowding the box.

The stacking feature assist installers to upgrade pre-installed boxes more easily without having to replace the existing splice box or adding another. Each Stacker™ SSC - MK2 will manage up to 6 mechanical splice protectors and fibres. Cassettes are stacked without the use of tools and additional parts; slight finger pressure allows each cassette to be clipped into place or un-clipped. The Stacker™ SSC - MK2 also features a hinge action, the hinge action allows the installer to access pre-installed fibres and splices.
