DATAKEY TERMS & CONDITIONS:

 

The Datakey Group provide our clients with four payment methods:

1. Cash transactions - As always, cash is king, all our prices include V.A.T. and a 6% discount,
2. Card transactions - We add 6% transaction fee to all cash and debit card transactions,
3. IBT transactions - Internet Bank Transfers are seen as cash - no extra charges - 2 days confirmation required from other branches to Standard Bank,
4. Contract transactions - Datakey PC provides 6 - 12 month service contracts to SB's - Contract clients pay monthly.
Cheques are not accepted under any circumstance - Not even as a direct deposit into our bank account.

PC Orders:

.
1. We require payment up-front for any PC to be custom build,
2. IBT payments must be confirmed by fax,
3. Up to 2 days for payment confirmation may be required if you transfer funds from other banks to Standard Bank,
4. Delivery within 48 Hours from confirmation of payment date,

Collection / Delivery:

.
1. Goods may be collected from our computer shop in Kempton Park,
2. We deliver free of charge in Kempton Park,
3. We charge for PC / Printer installation when required,
4. We ship computers and parts anywhere in South Africa, payment required up-front, shipping cost for your account on arrival.

Warranty / Swap-out:

.
1. We provide a 1 year manufacturers warranty on all faulty parts - except power interface devices such as power supplies and modems,
2. Goods returned within 1 week of supply will be swapped-out immediately - subject to stock availability,
3. Goods returned after 1 week - will be booked into our technical department or shipped to the supplier for repair / replacement,
4. Goods returned will be replaced with same or equivalent subject to stock availability, if no stock is available, a credit will be passed,
5. Goods cannot be exchanged for cash,
6. Software is provided without warranty - will not be replaced or exchanged once opened or installed.
