Datakey Communication Systems was established in1992 initially as a manufacturing concern for fibre optic management products. Since then our company has grown and adapted to market changes and demand. Our mission is to be a "Turn-Key" solution provider of "Best-of breed" information technology. Our company specialises in SOHO Computer, Servers,Notebooks, Fibre optic management systems,  Communication systems, Broadband solutions, Voice Exchange solutions (VOX), Access control systems, Security and Network systems.

Datakey PC Distribution was founded in 2001 and has grown exponentially with more than 115% per annum. We currently have a vibrant shop situated in our own Business Park in Monument Rd, Glen Marais that has an estimated market value of close to 5.6 Million Rand. Our computer shop carries more than 1200 parts and accessories.

Datakey owns the Atlantic franchise for Kempton Central, we sell the complete range of Atlantic internet systems which include, ADSL, Vodacom 3G HSDPC, I-Burst, and Cell-C. In addition Datakey also sells the Atlantic VOX VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), PABX systems aimed at the home user and SMBE markets. Datakey - Atlantic also appoints ISP's throughout South Africa as part of our brand business development mandate.

Datakey PC Distribution is a Corex "Preferred dealer”, Corex is the largest IT supplier of "Best-of-breed" products such as Seagate, Samsung, LG, Thermaltake, NU and many more. We are also an authorised Microsoft partner, Dell computer partner and Trend Net and Genius product dealer. Currently Datakey PC Distribution is the second largest independent computer business in Kempton Park and the only Fibre optic cable management system manufacturer in Africa.

DNS - Datakey Notebook Services is our latest large scale capital investment to provide our walk-in and corporate clients with a state-of-the-art laboratory that can analyse and repair all makes and models of notebooks down to chip level. We imported the very latest technology tri-nocular video interface microscopes from America, and we only use the latest and best tooling to service our clients notebooks. DNS also provides a wide range of accessories and replacement parts such as batteries, chargers and memory modules. As an added service DNS refurbish and sell LAB tested Notebooks at bargain pricing.

Our local markets consist of mainly SMBE’s (Small to Medium Business Enterprises), and Home / Home office users that require professional and personal service with a no-nonsense product warranty and after sales service attitude. Our international market consist of network designers and fibre optic cable installers. We export our trademark locally designed and manufactured Stacker and Phoenix fibre optic cable management systems to more than 27 countries across the world.

Datakey PC Distribution is the largest supplier of computer accessories such as cables, adapters, cards, internal and external add-on devices, and components in Kempton Park. We directly import our own range computer cases, mouse, keyboards, power supplies and a wide range of accessories into SA.
