Communication Systems was established in 1992 as one of the first manufacturers in South
Africa of “Fibre optic cable management” systems and related products. 
In 1997
we established “Datakey Group” to diversify and focus our product offering to the
Information Technology market.
Datakey
Nova is our corporate synergy division. Derived from the Latin word Nova means:
"New Latin nova (stella) new (star), from Latin novus
new", this clearly describes Datakey Nova's goals for the IT industry, to re-new
and improve service levels and support systems. Nova
provides corporate clients with a exceptional turnkey solution to their in-house and
outsource IT requirements. Nova offers SLA's (Service Level Agreements), off-site service
contracts, out of warranty repair contracts, corporate first line support, call centre
contracts and courier services. Under Nova corporate clients are able to make use of all

technical desktop computer repair centre, Our Datakey PC Distribution shop is aimed at our
SOHO and walk-in client market. The shop stocks over a 1400 parts, components and
accessories. Additional services include; cable reticulation, CCTV and access control

DNS-LAB
is a state of the art Notebook and Laptop repair centre and laboratory. Our repair
capabilities are enhanced with high-end microscopes, imported from the USA, precision
tooling imported from Switzerland and a highly skilled technical staff set. DNS-LAB not
only provides standard fault-find and replacement options, but also we also repair
equipment down to board and chip level. DNS-LAB is equipped to repair LCD / LED Monitors
and television sets.DNS-LAB offers small, medium and large retailers, Insurance companies and independent dealers a business opportunity to enhance their service offering and to become a DNS-LAB registered agent. Becoming a DNS-LAB agent will provide you with the ability to make use of our internal experience, technical staff and laboratory equipment as if is an extension of your own business. DPS is our latest service offering to which enables Datakey Group to
expand and enhance our "key solution" services offering to our existing clients
and that of our Nova corporate clients. The strategic alliance between Datakey Group and
Printegration now offers clients printer repairs and services either on-site or through our
technical workshops. DPS offer corporate clients our Nova Service contract options. DPS
has a national footprint and provide professional and a affordable service offering in the
following provinces: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and the Garden Route. From Parys to
Pretoria, from Polokwane to Port Shepstone we offer technical printer services and repairs
with an extensive partner network. DPS also offers a wide range of printer solutions such

Our
manufacturing division specialises in the manufacturing and packaging of our own “Proudly
South African” locally designed fibre optic cable management range of equipment under
the trademark names of Stacker and Phoenix.b.
We provide a 14 day warranty on all hardware repairs; this includes solder, part
replacement and electronic component replacement.
